…that if I hold a moment, a place, an object, a person, that I cherish, then in that act I am recognizing it as something sacred…something worth noting, someone worth sitting with, someplace worthwhile, and none to be considered mundane. For me, it’s about connecting with Goddess by the gifts and blessings She continues to nourish my heart and soul with. By connecting with the sacredness of my day to day life, I am saying thank you…

On that sacred night, I created this from a black & white photo of my torso. By writing my truths out on it…on me…I feel as if I have finally connected with my own authenticity. I am finally holding myself with as much reverence as I do everyone else.
I am Blissful
I am Bountiful
I am Blessed
I am Sacred

Thank you all for commenting on my last post. Your encouragement strengthens me to continue to share about something that I now consider a sacred illness.
Peace in all,
Lil

Hi, Lili!
Wonderful to see another post from you and such a glorious one. Bravo!
Guess who I met on Saturday night? Sherri from Goodreads and her husband Jay. They are moving from central Florida to Clemson, SC, so he can get his Masters at Clemson University. Clemson is about 2 hours north of Columbia, so they swung by the big Mall here with their trailer of furniture/books (one of many in the next few weeks I hear) to have dinner with me. Then we spent at least 45 minutes in the Mall parking lot looking at all her jewelry (she makes gorgeous jewelry and Jay makes awesome rings that they sell at SF&F conventions) with a flashlight in the dark. I had a super time!! They are really neat people.
Hope you had a fabulous weekend too! Sending you many faery xoxox today!!
Awesome Mama….I love writing such sacred things as a part of you.
I too, began *Sacred Sunday* this week.
Your post is so honest and real and heartfelt. Yay for you.
And I love that pic.
~ having a sacred cup of chai tea with you.
Tag!…you’re it!

This is beautiful Lil!! I love your words and the photo. Keeping every day moment and things sacred is so very important!
For me a really important aspect of this has been making time for quiet “sacred space” in my day to day life, even if it’s only twenty or thirty minutes a day.
Hi Lil,
I encourage you to share from your heart and to know that you are cared for and loved, truly. Those are not empty words with me.
Thank you for your very simple definition of “sacred”. So many people like to complicate things in life and words like that tend to have some religious connetations for some people. The way you put it is very different from that. Much appreciated and thank you for taking part in this. I think I just might too.
Peace and love to you today.

It’s great to read that you are shining a light on your feelings about *you*. It is my theory that the first step to growth is to love oneself. It opens all the paths!
Absolutely fascinating post and image, I am so glad you found the sacredness of you!
WOWOW
First, thank you for letting us know about Sacred Sundays (I hadn’t heard of it).
And – more importantly – thank you for allowing us to participate in your journey to discovering, celebrating and enjoying the sacred spirit that is YOU.
I am Beautiful
I am Blissful
I am Bountiful
I am Blessed
I am Sacred
Yes, you are!
I loVe the creative and connective way you have honored your priceless, precious Being.
I just found Sacred Sunday as well.. and have decided to incorporate it into my writing, too.
